Day 2 at KK was the kinda day I personally prefer, filled with serenity and a lot of shopping (I think I am a SHOPAHOLIC, woah! ๐Ÿ˜† now thatโ€™s a strong word).

KK might be a small town but certainly is a busy one bustling with noise, rattling with cars, and booming with people, a LOT of tourists I believe, especially during the December period! ๐Ÿ˜‡! We did spend a couple of minutes (such an understatement) stuck in a traffic jam but Allhamdulliah ,๐Ÿงก managed to reach the shopping mall in one piece! The Imago shopping mall had a reputation for being one of the best malls in the WHOLE of Malaysia, therefore I just had to see๐Ÿ‘€ it! I HAD TO! It was lovely and very spacious (my legs were aching loads), filled with a LOT of Boujee (exaggeration) shops, like Coach, Fossil, Giordano, Michael Kors etc.โ€ฆ I did buy a FEW things, not much (because this girl is stingy with money๐Ÿ˜‚)!

Imago shopping mall entrance! Didn’t take many pictures!:(

We returned to the hotel and decided we were starving after all that walking, following the advice of www.tripadvisor.com/ decided to have lunch at Sri Latha Curry House and it was the best decision one could make! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ! I and my family ordered one banana leaf rice parcel for each of ourselves and one big fish head curry for all four of us to share, it was truly scrumptious, and authentic Indian styled. The vegetables with the fish head curry gravy, AHHH, I can still taste it! ๐Ÿ˜‹!

The ULTIMATE fish head curry!๐Ÿ’

After our lunch we had to rush back to the hotel since the cruise was starting at about four thirty and we were as usual late. Slipping into comfy clothes and by booking a GRAB taxi we headed over to the pickup location where the mini titanic๐Ÿ˜‚ awaited us! The cruise started at about 2 hours before sundown and I had plenty of time snapping photos of the beautiful, serene ocean! With the cruise also came teatime, but mostly it was arranged for supper (early dinner)!

Thank you guys for making this cruise a long lasting memory for me and my family!
Isn’t it just beautiful?

The ship was three-tiered, and even had a private lounge if privacy was required (you had to book it before you got on the ship though). They had some wonderful menu items like kebabs, noodles, rice (obviously), veggies and curry done in different ways. Tea and coffee were readily available, desserts included three tiered puddings, brownies and fruits of course! The package we booked was the sunset dinner cruise! My best advice for you if you are going to take this package would be, DONโ€™T have lunch, just directly jump into what they serve you, because itโ€™s quite filling!

The best part of the entire cruise was the sunset (this entire vacation was filled with them), it was dazzling with all the shades of soft orange and the pattern in the sky that day, for some reason, reminded me of Lion King, the movie. Each day the sunsets are entirely different and never cease to surprise mankind! Allhamdulliah (all praise is to God)! ๐Ÿคฉ

That’s it for today! Await day three of this series where I and my family leave the ocean side and head further deep into KK!

Hope everyone is in GOOD health!! Want to know what I did on the first day of the trip click here ! Bye, Stormies!
